I kind of love Valentines. Not the cheesy, over priced, fixed dinner Valentines, but the fun give little gifts, talk about loving our friends, family and neighbors kind of Valentines.
I would say I am creative, but not so much crafty or patient, and actually executing a pinterest idea is a challenge, but a valentine, now that is more my speed, and totally do able.
So let's talk about class valentines...
The teach. Oh the teacher, and being a former teacher for 8 years I can say with confidence...No more chocolate! They will get so much, so please no more, I promise a hand written note is a hundred times better than chocolate. I also like to pamper the "un gifted" teachers...music, PE, etc. and I don't have a million dollars, so splitting up little things is great.
We are doing bath bombs. Just buy a bag of bath bombs, split them into little cellophane bags, tie on some cute ribbon, and this fun card and you are done! I also think face masks would be fun too.
...and because you are all not named Eleanor, here is one for you!
Now for Eleanor...this year we are doing pencils...and remember how I said my love of gingham runs deep. These darling tags are from Dixie Delights!
The dollar store is another fun spot to hit up! I made these stickers last year to put on bubble wands.
and last but not least, DO NOT feel like you need to be crazy crafty or creative. Everyone has their thing, and everyone gets their kicks different ways, so mommas please don't try to compare or worry on who out did it in the creative department, I promise the kids love the good ole tear apart valentines just as much (and probably more if candy is involved).... but if you do love a craft or getting creative then go for it. (Oh and I did see some great Christian tear apart cards here!)
