Jammie Love and a Valentine Breakfast
It's time for a little jammie love, and honestly I couldn't think of a better Valentine gift. You use them each night, and cute ones just feel like a treat all at the same time. I am also thinking this year we are going to do a fun Valentine's breakfast, so here are a few faves of ours for mornings at home.
These blue, striped jams my friends are the bomb.... (and the hubs hates when I say things like this....he says I am stuck in middle school, but whatever, ok.)...but really, I love the collared shirt and prefer shorts, the fabric is not hot and did you see the price? How about the perfect Valentine gift to yourself?!
Another fave around here, taking home runner up, is these Lake Pajamas. The pima cotton is divine, and I honestly think they could take home the grand prize if I get them in the shorts version (I have the pants and top).
Now, for Sunday mornings we do pancakes. I have tried the egg, banana, protein powder ones and well, I couldn't get the hubs or kids to eat them. These Kodiak ones are pretty clean and low in sugar so totally a win in my book. Did I mention they taste great, and are sold at my favorite store, Costco? (don't worry other places too.)
And last but not least, the plates. I love a melamine plate. We have some darling pottery barn kids ones for Valentines, but we also have started collecting these fruit of the spirit plates, and I couldn't love them more!!! Our local shop, Magpies carries them, but you can find them online too. What a great daily reminder of the fruits of the spirit and a great way to bring some conversations back to Christ.
To be honest a big Valentine dinner just seems a little cheesy and not really my thing, but I am down for a fun breakfast, in some cute jammies sipping a bug ole mug of coffee with my people.
